Teen Caught Driving 191 mph In His Father's Car — More Than Triple The Speed Limit

A teenager in Ontario Canada was caught driving 191 mph in his father's car on a highway - more than triple the speed limit.

To put that in perspective, that’s about a football field per second.

Unsurprisingly, the driver’s license was suspended, and the car was taken away for a week (which doesn’t seem all that severe). The harsher penalty of six months in jail and a loss of license for up to two years is also a possibility.

In the US, similar trends were observed, as states across the country reported spikes in speeding which led to more severe crashes.
